Day 1 Cochin Arrival and Ascent to Munnar Tea Hills

Your quintessential introduction to South India begins as you land in Cochin and meet your professional chauffeur from The Travel Stations. Leave the urban landscape behind as you journey toward Munnar, ascending into the lush Western Ghats. The drive is an experience in itself, characterized by sharp mountain curves, refreshing drops in temperature, and roadside views of lush spice plantations. Stop briefly to feel the mist at the Cheeyappara falls before checking into your resort in Munnar. Spend the remainder of the evening at leisure, relaxing in the refreshing mountain air.

Day 2 Sightseeing Highlights of Munnar

Diving deep into the beauty of Munnar, your morning sightseeing plan organized by The Travel Stations includes a visit to the sprawling Mattupetty Dam, the serene Kundala Lake, and Eco Point. Take deep breaths of eucalyptus-scented air as you photograph the vast tea estates that carpet the valleys. Later in the afternoon, visit the Eravikulam National Park to catch a glimpse of the rare Nilgiri Tahr mountain goats roaming wild on the grassy slopes. Return to the town center in the evening to buy fresh homemade chocolates and aromatic tea leaves before heading back to your resort.

Day 3 Munnar to Alleppey Over-Water Houseboat Journey

Bid farewell to the hills as you drive down towards the plains of Alleppey to experience Kerala's most iconic attraction: a private houseboat cruise. The Travel Stations guarantees a premium floating experience where you check-in at noon and spend the rest of the day navigating the intricate labyrinth of backwater canals. Watch the world slow down as you cruise past rural homes, churches, and green fields, topped with a delicious candlelit dinner served on board under a star-lit sky.

Day 4 Alleppey to Cochin Departure

Wake up to the gentle chirping of water birds and enjoy breakfast on the open deck of your houseboat. Disembark at the jetty, where your vehicle waits to drive you back to Cochin. Depending on your departure schedule, The Travel Stations will guide you through Fort Kochi to see the historic Chinese Fishing Nets and the St. Francis Church before dropping you off at the Cochin Airport or railway station for your journey homeward.
